Scope

What we take and what we do not.

What we accept

  • The debtor is a UK limited company or LLP, active and trading, in England and Wales
  • The work was completed or a milestone was delivered
  • A written agreement, statement of work, purchase order or approval trail exists
  • Typically under 180 days overdue. Older matters may still be reviewable where the file is strong
  • No fully developed dispute already in a solicitor's hands
  • The debtor is stalling, going silent or giving vague replies
  • Documents are available to build the evidence file

What we cannot help with

  • Consumer debt or a debtor that is an individual, a sole trader or an unincorporated partnership rather than a limited company or LLP
  • No written agreement, paperwork or evidence of delivery
  • The debtor is insolvent, in liquidation or formally winding up
  • Formal litigation already underway on either side
  • Serious defect, fraud or counterclaim allegations
  • The wrong legal entity has been targeted
  • Requests for intimidation, harassment or public-pressure tactics
