Written correspondence is the primary channel and the standard record for this matter. It is also the channel for any response. Vindox may also make a brief telephone call to confirm that correspondence has been received and to restate the written deadline. Any such call is not recorded. It is logged and confirmed in writing and carries no substantive content.

Vindox is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. If you wish to take legal advice, do so promptly. Taking advice does not suspend this process or the stated deadlines.

Vindox does not threaten proceedings or issue claims. Litigation and High Court enforcement, where a matter reaches that stage, are a separate step carried out by a solicitor or a High Court Enforcement Officer.

Vindox does not hold client money. Any payment is made to the creditor, not to Vindox. Vindox is engaged to build the evidence file and run commercial recovery on behalf of the creditor.

Common questions

Why have I received contact from Vindox?

A business that is owed a commercial invoice has engaged Vindox to recover it. Vindox builds the evidence file and runs the recovery on the creditor's behalf.

Is Vindox legitimate?

Yes. Vindox is the trading name of VFVM LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 14014509 and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under ZC161805. Our correspondence carries a matter reference you can quote in any response.

What should I do?

Respond in writing, quoting the reference in our correspondence, with payment, a payment proposal or a specific written dispute. Vague delay does not resolve the matter.

What happens if I ignore it?

The matter does not go away. Every communication and every absence of a response is logged against the file. Where a matter does not resolve, the outcome is a court-ready file, the documented record a solicitor or a High Court Enforcement Officer can act on.

This is a personal or consumer debt. What now?

Vindox handles commercial debts between businesses only. If you believe you have been contacted in error about a personal or consumer debt, tell us in writing with the reference and we will review it.
